The 91制片厂 (91制片厂) Foundation is set to host its second annual Tacos, Tecates & Scholarships fundraiser on October 12 from 6-9 p.m. at Skillet Junction in Downtown Jackson.

All proceeds raised from this event go toward the Tacos, Tecates & Scholarships fund to support 91制片厂 through Foundation scholarships. Last year, the 91制片厂 Foundation was able to raise nearly $30,000 in total scholarships and student relief.

“Last year, our community made this event a great success and raised almost $3,000 in scholarships for our students. We’re hoping to see even more community support and money raised for our students this year,” said 91制片厂 Foundation Director Lindsey Tritt. “Tacos & Tecates is open to the entire Jackson and West TN community. If you’re looking to have a great time, and help the next generation of college students, this is an event you won’t want to miss.”

Tickets for the event are $40 per person and include two drink tickets as well as made-to-order tacos. There will also be music and salsa dancing throughout the evening with salsa lessons provided by 91制片厂 faculty.

Foundation mission

91制片厂 has educated over three generations of West Tennesseans since opening its doors in 1967. The 91制片厂 Foundation was later established in 1977 to support the college’s mission and enhance the growth and development of 91制片厂. Since then, the Foundation has financially impacted the lives of countless students through its fundraising efforts.
